Ride to mark out route for the Severn Hospice Great Big Bike Ride – 50km (Southern)

9 Coalport High St, Coalport, Telford, Telford and Wrekin TF8 7HR, UK

This ride will start at Coalport heading to Brosley and onto Cressage to join the 50km section of the southern half of the Great Big Bike route to ride clockwise marking the turns all the way to Shawbury and then back to Cressage. If we split into two groups and leapfrog one another we should keep the stops to a minimum i.e. 1 team puts up signage at the first point while the 2nd team ride to the next point etc. etc.

If you want to join along the route, I’d suggest Brosley for those on the dark side or drive to Cressage and park up.  Route to Cresaage and then main route below.

Timings: Leave Coalport 9:30am – Brosley 9:50ish – Cresage 10:20ish and would expect the route to take about 3 hours plus tea stop and return from Cressage –  total approx: 5hrs
